Arreesha Shaik is a highly experienced Mental Health Clinician and Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AAMHSW), with over 20 years of experience in therapeutic counselling, social work, and community-based care across both public and private sectors.
She provides compassionate, evidence-based support to individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges, including Autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), stress, insomnia, grief and loss, dementia, and NDIS-related disabilities. Arreesha is dedicated to enhancing each client’s wellbeing and quality of life through a personalised, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and neurodiversity-affirming approach.
Arreesha is the founder of Rejoice Psychotherapy and Assessment Services, where she offers both face-to-face and telehealth consultations. She consults in person on Fridays at Flinders Peak Medical Centre and provides telehealth sessions on Sundays by appointment.
With extensive experience across mental health, aged care, and community services, Arreesha brings a well-rounded and practical understanding of complex client needs. Her background includes delivering counselling and assessment services, as well as working within multidisciplinary teams, enabling her to provide holistic and coordinated care.
From April 2026, Arreesha will offer comprehensive assessments for Autism, ADHD, and NDIS-related needs. She has undertaken specialised training in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), including ADI-R and ADOS-2, as well as User Level B assessment training, ASD assessment fundamentals, and co-occurring conditions. She is also trained in evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including EMDR and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
Arreesha adopts a trauma-focused, strengths-based, and holistic approach, working collaboratively with clients to support meaningful, sustainable, and empowering outcomes.
